My New Kate Spade NY bags

Here’s a quick post to show you my two new acquisitions. The first is the Charlotte Street Sylvie in Iceberg which sadly is no longer available, at least from the Kate Spade website anyway. I’ve been using this bag for a few days now and I love it! It holds all of my things comfortably and if I wanted to I could add my Kindle Fire and still have plenty of room. Of course adding my Kindle Fire definitely makes the bag much heavier, but I’m sure with the additional strap it wouldn’t be so bad. Since I’ve only been carrying it to the office I removed the strap so it wouldn’t catch on anything. I’d normally leave the strap hanging, but this bag is so nice it looks better without it. I’m sure if/when I go shopping I’ll add the strap so I can be more hands free when I need to be.

The other bag I ordered is the Post Street Little Nadine in Electric Lime. I ordered it during Kate Spade’s “Friends and Family” Sale, everything was 25% off including what was already on sale. Love it! I spotted the Post Street Little Nadine, but really didn’t have any intention of ordering it, but I kept going back to it. I think the color is perfect for this Spring & Summer and it could really be carried into the Fall. I’m not sure how much it will hold or how comfortably it’ll hold everything I carry, but I shall see. J This bag also has an adjustable strap that can easily be removed which I love; being able to switch your bag to a cross-body bag when you need both hands free is always a plus in my book.

Do you have the Kate Spade NY Sylvie or Nadine? Let me know what you think and check back later for a post of my newest arrival.

Thanks for visiting!

Christmas Wish List

Hello everyone! I’m so excited to show off my first ever DIY collage!! Woo hoo!! Can you tell I’m excited? It’s my Christmas Wish List, or one of them anyways. I’ve recently started purchasing some Kate Spade skirts from Neiman Marcus and Last Call and let me tell you, I love them. They fit so nicely and I always receive compliments when I wear them. I even wore one the other day and one of my co-workers asked if she could touch it. lol I’ll definitely do a review later on them, but I’m sure you can figure out how it’s going to turn out. One of the reasons why I like this dress is the print, another is the colors and the fact that they blend so well together with the colorblocking it allows you many possibilities when accessorizing it. Of course it’s finally gotten cooler in Texas so I would definitely need a cardi to wear over it, at the very least. Since there’s already so much going on with the print in the dress a simple clutch can easily take you from day to night. Another one of my fave places to shop? Zara! And these shoes are definitely on my wish list, even though I already have a pair similar to these, because everybody knows a lady can never have enough shoes (said in my best Phaedra voice). The Michael Kors Jet Set Travel Tote in purple has been on my wish list for awhile, but unfortunately it went on sale and they were all snapped up. 😦 So unless Mrs. Claus can pull out a miracle from her bag, this one will definitely remain a wish. Yes, I said Mrs. Claus because you know Santa would just head over to Walmart and pick up a purple tote and call it a night.

There you have it Wish List #1. Be sure to let me know what’s on your wish list and let me know what you think of my first collage while your at it.

I just spotted this lovely dress here, thank you Neiman Marcus for the email. 😉 It’s of course by Kate Spade.

It’s red and taupe with micro-stripes on the sleeves and it’s made out of Egyptian cotton, silk and cashmere, which sounds super soft to me, but of course that makes it dry clean only. Here’s what I find interesting though, the back of the dress has these buttons…

Which in my opinion means that you can wear it both ways! I’d love to give that a try…if anyone over at KSNY is reading this. 😉 I will be in Dallas this weekend so I may give it a try then…if my hubby is properly drugged can be persuaded to take me to North Park. I guess a trip to Bass Pro Shop is in my future.
